We are a physician-owned medical spa providing an impressive array of aesthetic services. Offering skin rejuvenation and laser resurfacing, natural hormone replacement, laser hair removal, cosmetic injections like BOTOX®, dermal fillers and many other aesthetic treatments.
Legacy Health & Wellness requires its licensed medical staff and industry certified technicians to complete intensive training. Not only is our staff the friendliest you will find, they are also highly trained and qualified. Everything we do is centered around you. Shannon Shipe, FNP-BC
Bio-identical Hormone Practitioner/Aesthetic Injector
Shannon is a Nurse Practitioner with over eight years of experience caring for patients in various areas that include urgent care, family practice and wellness. She earned her Bachelor of Science of Nursing degree at the University of West Virginia and her Masters as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Pittsburgh.
Her diverse background includes treating a range of concerns from aging skin to helping men and women balance their hormones with bio-identical hormone therapy. She has spent the past 3 years working directly with hormone patients. She’s extremely passionate about aesthetics and bio-identical hormone therapy. She believes both go hand and hand and loves helping patients regain their confidence and establish self-care practices through proper non-invasive aesthetic procedures like Botox. She also has experience with PRP and RF Micro-needling.
Jessica Hale, LE
Aesthetic Clinical Director/Clinical Esthetician
Jessica received her aesthetic education at the ISSN in Atlanta, GA and has been a licensed esthetician since 2001. She has worked in various day spas, plastic surgery centers and owned The Lavender Shoppe & Day Spa in Shreveport, LA before relocating to the Charlotte/Fort Mill area in 2009. Jessica owned and operated Peaceful Esthetics in Fort Mill, SC from 2009 - 2019.
Throughout her aesthetic career Jessica has received certifications in IPL (intense pulse light therapy), dermaplaning, medical micro-needling, advanced chemical peel solutions, the Icon Aesthetic Laser Platform, TempSure Envi and the HydraFacial MD.
Jessica merged her aesthetic business with Legacy Health & Wellness and brings her knowledge of the aesthetics industry, exceptional customer service, and experience to the team.
Dana Dowdy, LE
Dana Dowdy is a native of Western North Carolina and has 5 years of aesthetic experience. In her spare time you can find her, and her dog Shiloh, at the race track where she is the crew chief for her boyfriend’s drag racing operation! She moved to the Charlotte area 2 years ago to focus on clinical aesthetics, medical grade skincare and laser treatments.
Dana uses a tailored, personal approach with each and every patient to ensure they can achieve the results they have always wanted. Her passion for knowledge in this dynamic, ever-changing industry keeps her informed with the latest technologies and cutting edge ingredients in skincare, which she loves to share with her clients.
Dana is available every Tuesday & Wednesday.
Brandi Jansen, BSN, RN
Meet our newest team member! Brandi is an RN with over 14 years of experience caring for patients in various areas that include trauma/emergency care, cardiac care, and was even a school nurse within the Fort Mill School District. She earned her Bachelor of Science of Nursing degree at Georgetown University, but before that earned her Bachelor of Arts from her first love, Clemson University.
Brandi has always been passionate about educating her patients and families in health promotion and disease prevention. She believes everyone should feel good in their skin and looks forward to becoming a part of the culture of wellness and well-being at Legacy. She spreads her time between being a busy mom to 4 children and running a non-profit to aid families battling pediatric cancer. She knows the importance of self-care and is excited to be a part of your journey.
