Micro-Needling

Prepare for a Little Downtime
Expect a bright redness to the skin immediately after your procedure. Your total healing time depends on the depth of needles used and the number of passes your skincare professional performs. On average, patients experience redness for 1 to 2 days. Some patients heal completely in as little as 24 hours.

Benefits of Exosomes
Faster healing: Exosomes enhance the body's natural healing process, reducing downtime and minimizing redness.
Improved skin texture and tone: Exosomes help wake up inactive skin cells and repair and strengthen skin.
Reduced appearance of fine lines and wrinkles: Exosomes can help reduce the appearance of age-related pigment and fine lines and wrinkles.
More radiant complexion: Exosomes can promote a more radiant and even toned complexion.
We do offer an option to add on Exosomes to your Micro-Needling service. Exosomes are microscopic messengers that deliver growth factors and other compounds to the skin to promote cellular renewal and healing. The cost for this is $150.

The SkinPen treatment works in three simple steps, designed to activate the skin's natural healing process. Following each session, the skin begins to heal itself, looking more renewed and rejuvenated over time. SkinPen is only used in professional settings and delivers dramatic results without the use of heat or chemicals.
Does the thought of needles running across your face make you cringe? It's not as bad as it sounds! Micro-Needling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy or CIT) treats fine lines, acne scars and improves the skin's overall appearance. And, for most people, depending on the issues being treated, it is not especially uncomfortable.
The procedure uses tiny needles to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to produce collagen and elastin. The skin's repair process results in a thicker dermis with the appearance of softer wrinkles. SkinPen also creates superficial micro-channels which allow topical gels, creams, and serums to be absorbed more effectively into the skin.
Think of Micro-Needling as comparable to aerating your lawn. You create tiny little holes in the skin to create better skin, just as you do for your lawn.
Micro-Needling Works on a Wide Variety of Skin Issues
Micro-Needling's most common application is for resurfacing skin texture. The treatment also combats discoloration, enlarged pores, acne scars, wrinkles, and fine lines. Even if you don't have any major skin issues, Micro-Needling can give you a beautiful, dewy appearance and glow.
Micro-Needling - Customize Your Treatment
Before your treatment, your esthetician should conduct an assessment of your skin. The needle depth applied depends on the particular skin issues being addressed. If you have deep acne scars, the needle will need to go further down into the skin. If skin issues are enlarged pores or pigmentation, then that requires less needle depth. Your esthetician uses specific serums during the treatment to address individualized concerns.
Micro-Needling Should Not Be Super Painful
Micro-Needling may sound intimidating, but it's commonly described as an awkward feeling due to the prickly sensation. Of course, there are a couple of factors that will determine your degree of discomfort. The first factor is how deep the needles go into the skin. If you're receiving a more superficial treatment, then there is nothing to worry about. The pain is mild to none. Patients whose skin issues require more in-depth needling, often request a topical numbing anesthetic to minimize any discomfort. Most importantly, everyone has a different pain tolerances. Be sure to talk to your esthetician to address your concerns.
Multiple Sessions are Highly Recommended
Similar to Chemical Peels or Microdermabrasion, multiple sessions deliver the most dramatic and lasting results from your Micro-Needling treatment. You will see an immediate glow with just one session. Visible changes to the skin continue to develop over the course of several days and weeks. As your skin's collagen production continues, it is common to see continued improvement in your skin's appearance up to 6 months after the treatment. Some patients only require a single treatment, once per year to achieve optimal results.
