How Does Three for Me Work?
Three for Me occurs in three different steps to address different aspects of your skin concerns. The first uses IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) and the Cynosure Icon Max G system to reduce pigmentation. IPL uses very fast pulses of light to damage melanin or blood cells in the skin, after which the body can shed them as waste. After IPL treatment, the Cynosure 1540XF fractional laser performs non-ablative laser resurfacing to stimulate collagen and elastin production through heat, naturally tightening and lifting the skin over time. The third step uses the 1540 XD laser, which performs the final touches on lightening and brightening the skin, as well as improving the skin’s tone and texture. This process requires minimal downtime and saves time you would otherwise spend on three separate sessions.
ThreeForMe™ Treatment Guide Combining MaxG & 1540 Non-ablative:
Max G Handpiece: Recommended for treatment of benign pigmented lesions and vascular lesions, such as telangiectasias, rosacea, port-wine stain, hemangioma, angioma, and spider veins, on skin types I - IV.
1540 Fractional Laser Handpiece: Recommended for fractional non-ablative skin resurfacing, coagulation of soft tissue, and the treatment of melasma, acne scars, surgical scars, and striae.
Maintenance:
Most patients undergo a package of three to four treatments spaced about one month apart. Our certified laser technician will customize a treatment plan based on your needs and goals. You’ll likely see your best results in the months following your first treatment, as your pigmentation darkens and eventually sheds from the skin. Your skin will also begin to firm and fill out as your body produces collagen and elastin.
